I am currently in my 5th year of teaching at T.G. Givens Early Childhood Center in Paris, TX. I teach in an all inclusive classroom focusing on language, literacy, and math.

I began teaching in 1991 at North Lamar ISD. I taught 5 years in special education and 20 years in kindergarten. I also spent one year as a reading intervention teacher.

I am married to Jimbo Thompson. We have been married for 30 years.  I have one son named Logan and I have a beautiful daughter in law named Ashlyn. We have two pets-a dog named Scotty and a dog named Freckles who are both very cute and very spoiled.  This is my 5^th year in Pre-K as a Paris Wildcat and I love it!!!

My hobbies are reading, watching movies, and listening to music.  I love going to concerts and I love clothes.  I also enjoy hanging out with my family and with friends.
